Heyuan City in Guandong province in China is known to for its large amount of dinosaur fossils, and specifically dinosaur eggs. The city added to its collection with a set of 43 dinosaur eggs that were unearthed, not on the outskirts of town, but right in the middle of the city. In fact, according to CNN, the city won a Guinness World Record in 2014 for the world’s largest collection of dinosaur eggs at its museum.

The eggs were unearthed as the city was doing road repair work in the city center. That work was stopped as researchers and road workers painstakingly removed the fossils. Next up, the researchers will work to try and determine what species the eggs are from. The city has uncovered more than 17,000 fossilized eggs since 1996 according to Xinhua, China's official news agency.
