Zilla, maker of reptile and amphibian products announced that it donated $25,000 to the United States Association of Reptile Keepers (USARK) at the March 2015 North American Reptile Breeders Conference (NARBC).  The donation was made after recent anti-reptile legislation was passed earlier in the month that could impact the hobby.

“The Zilla brand is proud to support the USARK and their efforts.  The recent legislation may not have dramatically impacted commonly kept reptiles in the trade, but it sets precedence and opens the door to another round of legislation that will,” Ryan McVeigh, Zilla Brand Manager said in a press release.  “Our goal is to help people enjoy reptiles and amphibians for generations to come.”
