The 7 ball pythons were found dead, abandoned in plastic containers.
Someone who was breeding or attempting to breed ball pythons abandoned seven snakes near Route 14 north of Canton, PA and the The Pennsylvania State Police Troop P – Towanda Barracks and the Northeast Region Office of the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission are looking for information that can lead to the arrest of the person(s) involved. A reward of $5,000 is being offered to anyone who can provide facts to solve the case.
The snakes were discovered June 8. All of them were dead, with some of them in little plastic containers with eggs still in the containers. Each container had the name of the snakes on them: Blaze, Martin, Mr. Green, Samantha, Pearl, Larry, and SpongeBob.
