A 200-pound tortoise was rescued from a home devastated by flooding from Hurricane Harvey in Houston, and it took two rescuers to get the tortoise, Goliath, out of the boat and into a pickup truck, according to NewsOn6.com.

Goliath is a 31-year old tortoise and seems to be doing well. The rescuers were also seen rescuing other animals as well, according to NewsOn6.com. Hurricane Harvey and the resulting flooding has displaced hundreds, if not thousands of dogs, cats, and reptiles from their homes.

Goliath looks to be in great shape, though his shell looks as if he had been in standing water. He fortunately made it out. Other animals might not have had the chance of being rescued yet. The shelters in Houston have sent their existing shelter animals to other states to make room for the Harvey-displaced pets that are being dropped off everyday. Let’s hope that they come out OK and are reunited with their families.
