Zoo Med Labs has released three new products for reptile enthusiasts; the ReptiCare Infrared Heat Projector, Wipeout Terrarium and Aquarium glass cleaner, and Naturalistic Desert Flora.

The ReptiCare Infrared Heat Projector emits energy rich infrared (IRa and IRb) which gives your reptile immediate warmth at lower wattages than standard heat bulbs, according to the company. The infrared wavelengths shoot down into the habitat using a thick glass reflector. The heat is then soaked up by the surrounding rocks and decor.

The heat is then projected upward to provide belly heat. This results in more natural basking, according to the company. Because the heat projector uses virtually no light, it can be used day or night. The carbon filament has a long life span, according to the company and the projector is guaranteed for one year. It is available in 60 watt, 100 watt and 150 watt configurations.

The Wipeout Terrarium and Aquarium Glass Cleaner is non-toxic and is for use on glass to remove hard water deposits, dust fingerprints and other detritus without streaking. The 100 percent plant-based solution is non-toxic and is safe for glass and acrylic habitats. ideal for use with fish, plants, reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates.

Zoo Med’s Naturalistic Desert Flora is life like, water resistant foliage available in Silver Mullein, Euphorbia, Green Aloe, Red Leaf Stonecrop, Burro’s Tail, and Tree Houseleek. The decor has a removable rock base that enables you to set up your pet’s enclosure with desert flora accessories perfect for arid-style environments.
