A bearded dragon makes cameo in Matthew McConaughey's Lincoln poker run.
Matthew McConaughey has been selling Lincoln motor cars for several years now, and in his latest commercial, where he takes his Lincoln crossover for a drive to a poker game in what may be New York City, at night, there is a cameo by a lizard who may or may not want in on the card game.
So, the question posed by CarBuzz is why would the creatives who cut the video insert a bearded dragon into the commercial that is hawking the Lincoln MKX? The commercial, all 2:45 of it very well done, and the beardie looks just like he, or she is one of the gang that McConaughey is rolling with for this card game. Have bearded dragons become so mainstream that they get their own spot in car commercials? Or is one of the artists who helped assemble the commercial a bearded dragon lover? Anyone out there know the agency for Lincoln motor cars? If you don’t want to watch the entire ad, skip to 1:47.
Frogs and chameleons have hawked Budweiser beer. A day gecko sold insurance, and AT&T used a turtle to portray a rival’s Internet speed. Now a bearded dragon makes a cameo in a Lincoln commercial. Are there any other commercials that you know of that feature herps?
