For those of you in Southern California who wish to check out a great Halloween party, drop by The Reptile Zoo in Fountain Valley, Calif. October 28 as it holds its second annual Spooky Reptilian Masquerade from 5 to 10 p.m. More than 300 folks came to the first event last year. Ghouls of all ages are invited to attend the event, which will benefit the Reptile Zoo and Forever Wild Exotic Animal Sanctuary. Costumes are optional but highly encouraged.

More than 300 reptile lovers attended the 2011 masquerade and ball

On hand will be the founders of the Reptile Zoo and Forever Wild Exotic Animal Sanctuary as well as celebrity guest Frank, a six foot Asian water monitor who is best known for his role as Kipling on the Disney Channel show JESSIE. Frank's trainer, Jules Sylvester, a veteran TV and exotic animal handler will be present to answer any questions that attendees may have.

The fun filled night will include raffles, games, and a costume contest. For ghouls young and old, there will be exotic reptile demonstrations including a two headed snake and even a cobra. Also making an appearance will be Zorro the black leopard. The famous Kogi BBQ truck will also be available for those who wish to eat dinner at the zoo.
