The last thing you probably expect to find under your fridge is an eastern brown snake. However, that’s exactly what happened at a home in Moana, a suburb of Adelaide, Australia. Rolly Burrell, snake catcher, removed the snake from under the refrigerator on Sunday and caught the whole thing on video.

Since eastern brown snakes seek out humidity to lay their eggs – and beneath a fridge is an ideal location – Burrell suspected the snake was pregnant, and kept it for a few days. He was right. The snake shed her skin before laying 14 eggs. Burrell says in the video that the eggs will be incubated and hatch sometime in March.
