Kevin McCurley has been breeding ball pythons for a long time, and he’s a recognized expert who has developed many cool color mutations of this very popular snake. Many credit the many cool morphs now available as having provided a major boost in the popularity of this snake, and exploring all the different types now available, it’s easy to see why. Nobody keeps an official tally, but the ball python just might be the world’s most popular pet snake nowadays (though whether or not it has officially unseated the corn snake remains to be known).
