Wisconsin Vet Named Exotic DVM Of The Year

We had a lot of great entries this year for our Living With Reptiles contest. Some were heartwarming, others funny and many uplifting. It was extremely difficult to select just three winners. They were the subject of much debate in our office, especially between Russ and I, as we read through every submission and discussed the merits of each one. We are always pleased to see so much passion, and compassion, from our readers.

When people talk about their reptile pets, their enthusiasm is obvious, and very often contagious. No matter what your animal of choice may be, you can appreciate how that animal makes a difference in your life. It is why people go to such great lengths to make sure their pets are healthy and happy. After all, when you take on the responsibility of a pet’s life, you make a commitment to give it the best care possible. Our three winners did just that.

As you read through their stories, we hope that you find them as inspiring as we did. We would also love to hear your impressions. You never know, you might just find your letter printed in our "Mailbag” section.
