Breeder Comments

“This project was started by breeding a pure rufescens-phase Kenyan sand boa to an anerythristic Kenyan sand boa, resulting in striped het for anerythristic sand boas. These males were then raised and bred to an unrelated anerythristic Kenyan sand boa female, resulting in the first striped anerythristic Kenyan sand boas born in September 2009. These are a new morph combining the co-dominant stripe trait with the recessive anerythristic trait.”
