“This desert ball python, which is heterozygous for clown, is a new color and pattern morph. Besides being visually stunning, the desert morph works as the ultimate color and pattern enhancer. It is a fantastic way to clean up visual patterns when combined with other morphs. More breeding is needed to determine whether there will be a super desert. At this point, the gene is either dominant or codominant. As this animal shows, even 100 percent het combos can create fantastic results.”
