I live in central Pennsylvania. I work at a place where we have a greenhouse. We’d discovered a green tree frog came in on a shipment and had been living in the greenhouse for an indeterminate amount of time. I had cared for reptiles a long time ago and had plenty of equipment at home to set up a hospital tank, I took him home and he’s been in my care for close to two weeks now. I’m curious where I should be keeping my humidity I’m keeping it currently around 80% at about 75 degrees I was wondering if this was too much or not enough he’s eating fine and over all other than being an escape artist; seems to be fairly happy. I’ve been giving him gut loaded crickets about a dozen a week and his appetite is staying nice and strong. Would you have any other recommendations for me?

we are getting a frog for robotics. is a 10 gallon terrarium big enough because we are going to be traveling with the frog and need the smallest tank possible.

I had a baby green tree frog hanging around my flowers for a couple of weeks. He disappeared and now I have a grey colored frog hanging around by us. Is it the same frog? Do they change colors to match their surroundings? I hope it is the same tree frog, because I would hate to know if he ate the little green tree frog. Maybe I have two different frogs hanging around?

I was cleaning fish tank gravel and forgot a load in a little cooler on my front porch. When I went to dump the rain water & get my gravel I found a little green tree frog… felt bad giving the poor thing a scare like that so I left it alone to keep safe from my cat Diablo (probably the reason it was there to startle me…). Now my lil buddy seems to have adopted my cooler for a permanent residence & I noticed today the head is starting to turn a brown (hope that’s normal). My problem is idk what I should do with the poor lil thing if it stays till winter… don’t want to have a frozen frog because my cat is a devil… I was thinking about setting up another aquarium just for the frog (I really want that gravel back!)… any recommendations?

I had some tadpole in a puddle in my driveway. I did not know what to do. I collected them and kept in small take with tiny pieces of lettuce. But still did not know where to release the tadpoles. Do you have any suggestions?? I placed them in a near by lake. Hoping that was the right thing. Hope I did ok????
