A sea turtle monitor who was excavating a nest on Florida’s Highland Beach found this albino sea turtle hatchling. Now sea turtle hatchlings are super cute to begin with but an albino sea turtle hatchling? How rare is that? The monitor, Beverly Knight sent the video into WPTV News. No word on what species the sea turtle is, but it is definitely a sight to see.
Albino sea turtles are rare but several have surfaced around the world over the years. A Youtube search yielded some interesting sea turtles with all white shells and bodies, all white bodies, but none that appeared to lack pigmentation in their eyes.
