Imagine you feel a little under the weather. Maybe you’ve been vomiting overnight or have a nasty case of diarrhea. Is it the jumbo burrito you ate off the “roach coach” for lunch? Did you pick up a vicious bacterial infection that will require medication? Or is this the first signs of liver failure, a strange tropical parasite or even cancer?

How long will you wait before seeking medical help? Do you try a few over-the-counter remedies to see if the symptoms go away? Every one of us has a different answer. Some will seek a professional opinion early on while others will wait, sometimes too late for the disease to be fixed.
