Breeder Comments

“This corn snake is a relatively new morph, and it has been proven to be a simple recessive trait. Through test breeding projects it has also been proven to be a pure corn snake and not a hybrid. The terrazzo line started from a single wild-caught specimen, a Keys corn, which displayed the ‘shattered pattern’ appearance. This year, in 2009, we hope to prove whether it is allelic to the motley or the stripe lines. We are also currently breeding this line together with the lavender, butter, sunspot, coral ghost and anerythiristic morphs.” Photo by Tim Jasinski Courtesy JMG Reptile
