Al Roach, a former professional baseball player, grew up with a passion for turtles. He currently owns hundreds of turtles if not a thousand, all of which are separated by species. Al’s favorite turtles include the North American Wood Turtle, the Spotted Turtle, the Blandings Turtle, the Western Pond Turtle and the Bog Turtle. As of 2011, Al keeps and breed’s about 100 different species from all over the world. He also owns a website called www.reptastic.com which is a site for reptile and amphibian lovers.
