Answer: The Australian agamid lizard known as the Bearded Dragon (Pogona vitticeps) can be found throughout most of inland Australia. It lives in semi-arid habitats and is a true omnivore due to the scarcity of prey in much of its natural range. The bearded dragon is named for the flap of skin on its neck that is covered with little spines, which it can puff out. The bearded dragon makes a great pet as it doesn’t get large, is docile, and is easy to supply with vegetables and insects.

Winners: 10 winners are randomly selected and will receive 500 Club Reptile points. Winners will be notified by email.
