Scales The Bearded Dragon Makes Family Christmas Card But Not Murphy The Pug

I don’t even know how it happened, I was just focused on the lizard because he was the new family.

My humans forgot to include me in this year's holiday card, but I assure you that I'm alive and well. Pugs and kisses to you this holiday season.

Tina Haupert, who on Instagram is known as carrotsncake sends out a Christmas card every year, and that includes her family’s senior pug Murphy. However, for some unexplained apparent oversight, Scales, the family’s new bearded dragon made it on the Christmas card, and Murphy, who has been on the family’s holiday card every year for some 13 years, was left off the card.

“He’s 13, so he has been on the Christmas card every year,” Haupert told Today.com. “I don’t even know how it happened, I was just focused on the lizard because he was the new family. This year, my son got a lizard so that was kind of the new family member,” Haupert said.

Haupert’s friends and family didn’t let the missive sans Murphy go unnoticed, with many inquiring if Murphy was doing ok. The response from Haupert’s 48k plus IG followers were so numerous, when Haupert sent out a second card with just Murphy, her followers were nothing less than ecstatic.
