What will you be doing in celebration of Reptile Awareness Day? Reptiles, of all animals, are probably some of the least understood in the animal kingdom. They are often maligned as cold-blooded killers in the media, but they're just out earning a living like all other animals, they just seem to have bad PR. After all, what is a squirrel as compared to a rat?

Both are rodents. Yet one is more beloved than the other because it has a bushy tail. In celebration, I will be speaking with one person about reptiles and the importance of these animals to the environment and how they can make interesting pets.
