UPDATE: We have just been informed that Moon has died in what the veterinarian called Inclusion Body Disease. If you live in the Edmonton, Alberta, Canada area, please do your research of breeders carefully when purchasing snakes. It also appears that the Edmonton Humane Society has taken on this case and might go after the person who did this to Moon. Stay tuned. . .
A reptile rescue in Drayton Valley, Alberta, Canada has taken in a very sick albino boa constrictor and is asking for help. Moon came to the rescue on May 25 in very poor health. She is 9 years old and weighs less than 10 pounds, despite being 8 feet 9 inches in length. She is extremely underweight, dehydrated and just in bad shape, Janelle Foulds, founder of the Drayton Valley Reptile Rescue says on Moon’s GoFund Me page.

Moon the albino boa constrictor is in need of help.
In addition to being extremely underweight, Moon has sepsis, scale rot on her stomach, and very extreme dehydration. She apparently came from the home of a breeder who was breeding her, living in a 3ft x 2 ft Rubbermaid tub with no water or bedding.
