We have seen snake-themed basketball and running shoes, snake-themed jewelry, and have even witnessed Gucci attend CITES conferences in an effort to drum up support for a better way to track python skins that are used in the fashion world. Now Gucci’s Spring 2016 collection features a variety of snake-heel mule sandals, shoes for women that are of varying styles, but have one thing in common, a somewhat realistic snake crawling on the heel of the shoe.

Footwearnews describes them as vintage-meets-geeky and says that they were the most talked about style in Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele’s collection. The snake design were added onto the back of the heel, which were studded and painted in various colors and depending on the style. No word on the pricing of these beauties, but considering they come out of the Gucci fashion house, they will probably cost as much as a rare morph.
