Leon County in Florida has taken a unique approach to reminding its citizens to practice safer physical distancing as the COVID-19 pandemic rages across the United States and around the world. The county posted to Facebook and other social media to remember to keep distance from others by using an alligator image between two people to get the point across. The county is hoping that its residents will keep one alligator space between themselves and others.

This is a reminder that during #COVID19, please remember to keep at least 1 large alligator between you and everyone else at all times. #SaferAtHome #PhysicalDistancing #Florida
