If you are an anaconda lover, and a fan of Nicki Minaj, are you disappointed in the fact that Minaj’s music video “Anaconda” didn’t even get nominated for an MTV Video Music Award? She received three nominations for other works but, according to the Daily Mail, expressed outrage that “Anaconda” wasn’t even nominated in the Video of the Year category.
She ranted on Twitter:
'When the "other" girls drop a video that breaks records and impacts culture they get that nomination.'
She went on to say “If I was a different “kind” of artist, Anaconda would be nominated for best choreo and video of the year as well.
Not sure what she is getting at with that statement, but her video "Anaconda" was in reptile news last year when one of her backup dancers was bit by a Boa constrictor on the set of the music video.
